Ported T/B???
I bought a used Z06 and the paper work says it has a ported haltech T/B. I was talking to a shop to have my LS6 intake sent out to have it ported. They told me that they did not believe haltech ports or sells ported T/B's, any way to tell if it has been ported? Thank you

Look for scratch marks from porting. Mine was ported also by some body. It looks terrible.
I have the Stock LS6 throttle body though. I wonder if porting the Stock throttle body with a stock intake manifold even makes power or if whoever did it wasted their time.

It all depends on who and how it was ported. I can port a TB and inside the mouth of the TB will be MIRROR SMOOTH!I will show you what a OEM LS-1/6 Ported TH should look like. Compare it to yours:

A ported TB will increase your throttle response a little. It not going to make a big HP/Tq increase. Maybe 5-7 HP.
