CREE LED Stop Running Signal
Lat spring purchased 4 3157 red LED bulbs from HIDLIGHTSUSA for $120.00 Plus shipping. After installing they were not that much brighter than stock but OK.
Last weekend two stopped working. Took them out and noticed that the little bulbs inside the housing had fallen out? the contacts at the base also came out of the bulb. I installed two OEM bulbs and wrote to the company and sent pictures of what is clearly a defective product. They responded that the bulbs are not under warranty and if I sent payment they would send out new Bulbs? now why would I pay for new bulbs if the ones I have are obviously defective.
The other two also broke and are worthless. I do not recomend the cree bulbs since they are cheaply built and this company did not even take the time to see if in fact they have a defective product asking me to send them the bulbs to examine. They simply did not care. Out of warranty case closed.
