Default Rear clunking sound

I was driving my C5 after replacing the rear sway bar links and bushings and noticed a clunking noise I've never noticed before. I took the wheel off and worked the rotor by hand thinking it was brake caliper and discovered this. Watch the video. So what does everyone think it is? Is it "Normal" or do I have differential issues brewing?

NOTE: The Transmission is in Park.

Did you torque the sway bar properly? They clunk if not done right

I just jacked up the right rear of my car and I have the same amount of play. I just put in new c6 z06 clutch packs, preload springs and replaced spider gears, short output shaft and the other shaft gear. I think you're fine. Prolly just a endlink nut that's loose.

Some things that I noticed in your vid:

You have never had the brake rotor off the car ast you still have the metal retainers on the studs

The rotor is loose on the hub. Install two lug nuts on the studs and tighten to prevent the rotor from rotating and clanking on the wheel studs. Check for the noise again after you do that.

Its difficult to properly tell in the vid but,,,,,,,,,,, It looks like the LARGE NUT that secures the hub to the output shaft is loose. NOT GOOD! That could be causing your noise!

Clean the RUST off the end of that threaded shaft, soak it in PB Blaster Penetrate. and take the NUT off. Behind that nut is a SPLINED SHAFT that slides into a splined shaft in the HUB.

If that nut is loose, the splined shaft may be worn. I know that the splines need to be properly lubricated and then reassembled and the nut properly TORQUED to... (Rr Drive Shaft Spindle Nut 160 N·m 118 lb ft . ) Same for the left side.

You are correct sir, the rear has never been apart. I thought I had replaced the rear pads before when I replaced the fronts but it looks like that was my other vehicle. When I checked them they were at approx 0.05 inch. No bueno! I bought a pair of Wagner Therrmo Quiet brake pad and am replacing them while also adjusting the parking brake. I will check the axle nut to see if it's loose. I really don't want to remove it as my Torque wrench only goes to 100 ft pounds. Question though, what is the torque on the Caliper bracket to hub and the caliper to bracket?
TIA

Thank you Bill SO much! Yeah, my sway bar bolts weren't even close on the clamps, pretty close on the links though. Everything is checked, and double checked. She'll be rolling with confidence once again thanks to the Forum. Thanks everyone who contributed, and even trolls will learn from this.
