Default changing EBCM
Finally found the 2000 EBCM.after swapping it out,does the new one need to be programed forthe car?

Yep, NO programming required. You were lucky to find one. Let's hope it is good. DO NOT get rid of the old one. There is one shop that says they work on them and maybe more in the future. Of course not all EBCM issues can be fixed by anyone who did not actually make the module for GM.

I have that one shop info at home if you want it.

I thought there were different versions of the EBCM for with/without active handling.
