Default lights an wipers

lights will come up and when turned off they go down when they want to and wipers only move in slow speed on hi and will not set at all. body guy had door handles out and mirrors off and doors got rained in for weeks is there ground that might cause this. I am in the south so only two or three times of rain. thanks for any help

and forgot to say inside door panels were off at the time/

There should be no relation to water in the door and lights and wipers. I doubt the serial bus was affected .

You need a new Thread for the wipers and we can work on the lights issue here.

Sounds like you have Twilight Sentinel 'ON" and in low light the headlights come on and can go down in higher ambient light conditions.

Go onto your DIC and see if this is the case. Refer to your Owners Manual if you need to learn how.

drivers door switches were wet and cracked so memory may be the problem so I ordered a new one

Sounds like the Multifunction switch has internal issues and is telling the HL module to turn them on and off. MF issues are very common. I don't think it is independent action by the HL module.

Let's see what others may say.

In the interim you can look at this info on replacing it.

already changed hl mod and did not help so I will wait til switch gets here and go from there

also when I press the mem. button it moves but light does not light up on eather button 1 or 2

sometimes it works and sometimes it changes from mem 1 to mem 2 on the movment
