I have checked my codes and have non but history. A/C was blowing cold and turned it down a few degrees and it quit. The pressure tested from two differs cheap testers you get to fill system shows pressure in the red. Vents blow air just fine, but no cold. You can hear system kick on when you turn a/c on and off.
Hi, I'm actually going to be needing help soon with my A/C as well.
One thing I can recommend is to check and see if it's blowing cold on the passenger side. If it's cold on the two passenger side vents, but warm on the two driver side vents, it's possible your driver side actuator has failed. Especially considering that it started after you adjusted the temperature.
If you search, there's actually and HVAC reset method that might also solve your problem.
Good luck! Hopefully someone with plenty of experience in the C5's HVAC system can chime in. Be sure to post back anything you figure out to help other members.
What were those history codes? A lot of codes turn to history as soon as you turn off the ignition. Reset them and see if they return. Do you have climate control or the manual system?
If you are going to be doing A/C diagnostics, and having it run in top shape, you really need to invest in a gauge set. You can get them at Harbor Freight for a low price. Otherwise, you are just guessing.
