Default EBCM reinstall

Hey Guys - any suggestions will be much appreciated. After removing the EBCM (no screws dropped!) and shipping to ABSFIXER I can only imagine how much fun the reinstall is going to be. Any tips on dealing with the two side and two bottom screws? It was hard enough to get to them to remove so relocating the holes while securing the screws looks like a challenge.

I had my car up on jackstands. Can't remember exactly which ones, but 2 or 3 of the screws were more easily accessed from below. Also, I had two different length driver handles, for the torx head. A longer and a shorter, for different access to the screws.

I used a thin piece of duct tape, to hold a couple of the inward screws to the torx driver until you get them started, as others have said.

I thought is was fairly easy, once I found which driver, for which screw. Just a little trial and error. If I did it a second time; it'd take about half the time.

I thought the two wiring harness connectors were easier to re couple from below, as well. But, are doable from the top, I suppose. Depends on how good your back is.....

Just take your time, get a good trouble light so you can see.

Yeah, removal was not bad once I figured out there was 6 screws instead of 4... (doh)!?

I removed upper radiator hose, air intake duct, extenstions.... Piece of cake.. Yes, patience and taking breaks when you get frustrated is needed...

I installed the top 2 screws from the top and the other 4 screws from underneath the car. Worked good.

Remove dry side of EBCM from '02 C5Z today. Up on jack stands and removed the bottom(2) & middle(2) screws from below. Removed top (2) screws from above. Didn't remove any hoses. Some wire bundles, tubing and hoses cause interference, but I managed to get it done w/o speaking any four letter words. Made a feeble effort to remove cover, decided it wasn't worth the effort, then boxed up unit and sent to ABS Fixer
Thanks, Ray in TX.
