I just installed the LPE fuel pump kit and a Racetronix wire kit to provide ample volume for my nitrous kit. After I got it back together and was obviously empty on fuel, the sender read at 3/4 tank and stayed the same after putting $20 in the tank.
I was careful with the install and I don't think I damaged the sender, but it's possible. Has anyone had this happen? I am leaning towards the float and rod being stuck on the filter or something. Either way I have to tear it back apart .
I'm debating ordering a new sender kit so I don't have to go back in twice. Id' hate to drain it again and fiddle with it to no avail. Might be better to just put a new one in. Of course I'd rather save the money if it isn't likely damaged.

emptying the gas is easy just jump the fuel pump relay and either pop the cap off the rail or throw a fuel hose over the feed and let it drain into a bucket. You can have a beer while its pumping the fuel out
Ok I figured it out. The rod was just stuck on the plastic fuel tube. Just adjusted it out of the way and now the sender has a full range of motion. Easy fix.
start a thread so folks can help you out. Sorry if I had missed it
Yes sir, I'll post a thread up soon. Thanks!
