My C5Z EBCM is throwing the dreaded three codes. Tried all the ground/connection fixes. 
Any chance a C6Z EBCM would work in my C5Z?

Thanks for reply. Didn't think C6Z EBCM would work, but saw one on Craigslist real cheap. Only had car since Oct. '14 and my first 'vette.....newbie! Pulled and cleaned every related electrical connection, and ground; "Mechanically agitated" the EBCM unit; did some panic stops to maybe wake up the unit(front brakes locked up); jacked up the rear and ran up to 40mph a few times to wake up unit; can't remember right now, but codes are 1214 related - traction control/ABS/active handling. Was getting codes intermittent, now constant. Keep resetting but won't go away. Haven't tried any testing w/multimeter yet. Thanks for link.....don't think I've seen that one before.

1) Ignore the codes and related symptoms and keep driving the car.
I have been driving it with the three related functions not working. Traction control and active handling off......I can tolerate. But I would really like my ABS functioning again. Hard braking locks the front wheels, and that is creepy scary.
Think I'll pull it apart and try to self diagnose/repair.

when my 01 went south I sent it to ABSFixer,, less then 100,, and less then a week round trip mailing.. You can still drive the vette, just be cautious....
DYI's can be found in the search at the top... and a lot of folks on the CF will help.
I suck at soldering...but could remove it..
