What were your concerns with the Ti exhaust valves? I hadn't heard anything bad about them before. I just figured the Ti valves are really light so they'd be a good thing to have. Plus, even if I didn't use them they're about $1600 brand new so there's definitely some resale value there if I end up using different ones. Think the Ti would be better than stainless though because they're around 15-20g lighter so I might be able to use beehive springs in my setup (not with the g5x3 cam obviously... thinking about getting a custom one spec'd now) which would give me a few hundred RPM more to play with.
If you google it, threads will come up here and on ls1tech. Lots of talk of pulling them through the seats. I suspect the delwest ones can work, but exhaust is too hot of an environment for TI valves just in general from my reading. If you don't need 8k+ rpm you are better served by regular valves and the right cam and springs. That's the route i took. Like I say im lucky that i have stock 243 ls6 valves, they weight only 2-3g more then the delwest so they are no hinderance to my 7k rpm objective. Along with my 25k mile 5 year objective, which i was suspect the TI would last that long with track use.
