Headlight headache

On connector C1 of the module there are the following wires in these terminals:
A - White = Power with headlights on.
B - Orange = fused battery power
C - Dark Green = power with headlights off
D - Black = chassis ground
E - Orange = fused battery power
** IMPORTANT ** The white wire is the oddball. It must have a resistance to ground with headlights off for this input to not be considered as "headlights on". It will also over-ride the off signal. the module open the headlights if this wire has 12V or no resistance to ground even with the dark green wire energized. The resistance is typically the high or low headlight bulbs depending on the high-beam selection. This is why HID ballasts sometimes cause the headlights to not retract because they are a switched power supply and have a high resistance with no power applied.
The other connector C2 has the motor wires. Don't confuse the motor wires or their voltage measurements with the above connector wires. There is a dark green wire going to one of the motors too but that'd be the wrong wire to test.
