Intermittent cutting out. Bill C?

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. While I certainly did have some burnt contacts, after cleaning them I still have my unique problem.
At high rpm I get an intermittent cutting out. On the dyno it was at 7450. On the track its at 7000. The solution is to shift at 6000. But that's not the cure.
When it cuts out, it's as if I shut the key off. My HPTuners scanner loses the signal and restarts. The check engine light comes on briefly and goes back out. All the gauges go to zero and come right back on. It's literally as if I turned the key off while going down the track.
I've checked and cleaned all the grounds. I've checked all the connections to sensors, battery, fuse box, coil packs, etc.
It's frustrating. My next thing to check will be to ohm out all the wires in the engine harness. That won't be fun, but likely necessary.
Any thoughts on this from anyone here?
Thanks.
I had a similar problem last year, engine would cut out at high rpm, gauges would sweep erratically, check engine light would flash. Finally found my problem when i came across G106 ground, it was hanging on by a few strands, it literally broke off when i was checking it for tightness. I spliced in a new terminal and the problem never returned. It's been over six months trouble free. Good luck!

That power comes directly off the battery and is fairly easy to trace and examine.
Start at the battery terminals Neg and Pos and make sure that they are clean and tight and the CRIMPED connection under the rubber sheif is not burnt corroded or loose.
From the battery, the power goes to the 12VDC B+ terminal on the under hood fuse box. Make sure its clean and tight.
The second wire on that terminal goes to the Passengers Fuse Box in the foot well. Take the fuse box out and make sure that the connect ion is clean and tight. The ALDL port is protected by the C/ALDL fuse (#29 in the 98 Manual)
It sounds like you are losing power on more than just the ALDL circuit so look for a MAIN POWER WIRE or CONNECTION issue that might be disturbed at a high vibration event or high force event.
Put that theory to bed and see what you find.

Thanks for the suggestions.
