Hello i have a stock C5 2002 i would like some more horsepower gain but dont want to go over $4000 what can i do to my vette to get some more gain and would it be worth it. Thanks
Auto or stick? If auto and 2.73's I'd highly consider 3.42's
Unsure how much a SC is, but might be an option.
First though, the trans question and gears.

its a 6 speed, are you talking about the differential timing, i dont know much about engines im just now wanting to get into it with my first vette. Thanks
My advice is to spend time researching and learning what you want and keeping a good old fashion note book before spending a dime. Good luck with the build.

Long tube headers, x-pipe,port/polish throttle body, tune
Good luck...........
With a 6 speed your gears will be good, 3.42.
I'd say for $4K; used 243 heads with updated springs, LS6 intake, cam, cam, Headers, Ti catbacks...
Really depends on how much of the labor you're doing.
If all of it I think you can do a decent amount of the above. If paying someone, well, delete most of the list.
