I have a hardened steel bell housing cover in mine. My cars out at GWP, can't give you many particulars at the moment. It may have been a special thing Kenny designed or had made, but you could check with him if you had questions.

I would suggest you contact Lakewood Suspension and Safety, now part of the MrGasket family of companies. They have been making explosion proof bellhousings for over 40 years and are approved by all major sanctioning bodies. While I don’t believe they make an off the shelf model for a C-5, they do make special order models. Their technical service department (216.398.8300 ext. 500) should be able to help you out, or at least point you in the right direction.
