Default progressive N2O controller

Can someone explain how a progressive N2O controller works, and how I would use it on my TNT setup

I have the NX Progressive controller. It basically lets you fade the nitrous in at a percentage/interval. Of course it gets a little more advanced like the start percentage can bump up for each gear change.

On of the main advantages is it takes the shock out of a full shot instantly hitting the motor. To me it's worth that alone.

Ex.
1st Gear(at the line)-Start at 25% total shot and fade to 100% in 1.2 secs
2nd Gear-Start at 50% and fade to 100% in 1.2 secs
3rd Gear-Start at 85% and fade to 100% in 1.2 secs
so on and so fourth...

There are more settings but it would be more informative to visit NX's or Jacobs website.

I love the NX. It is a little confusing to setup at first but I would not run without it now. Even for a 100 shot.

Just curious, how does the Maximizer know what gear you're in? Or does it just assume you started in 1st and then sense that you've let off and must be in 2nd, and so on?

Yes it is designed for drag racing so it assumes that you are starting in 1st gear. You can save up to 10 modes so I have some modes for street and strip using different size shots.

The solenoids are Open/closed type. The controller opens and closes them really fast, over a timed period. This is how it controls the flow. This also causes the solenoids to wear out faster. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I didn't know it could save up to 10 modes, good to know.
