Default maybe bolt-ons?

O.K., I've been kicking around the LPE top end package for my 02 coupe. But i go thinking, what kind of performacne gains can I get from just doing bolt-ons and staying away from the the head and cams?

I know I want the GHL exhaust and a Blackwing. What other bolt-ons should I consider that actually add something to the performance?

Just can decide which route to go.

thanks,
Scott

On a MN6 C5, none of the bolt-ons provide significant gains other than Intakes (particularly Cold Air Intakes such as Vortex/Proflow/Tric/Vararam) and Long tube Headers. Exhausts may give you 5-8hp, the other mods available may give you a a little, but nothing sigificant ....short of H/C or Forced Induction/NOS. Some people have had good results with just the Cam change if you don't want to go as far as the Heads. If you have an Auto, Programming, Gears, and Torque Converters provide nice gains.

Then with the normal mods, Cold Air Intake, Long Tube Headers, Exhaust.... and Programing, Gears, Torque Converter, you will have a VERY FAST car. Most H/C cars have most of these parts on them two anyways.

Do you consider a supercharger to be bolt-on? ;)

Get the heads and cam

I've done all the bolt ons you can do and I'm already bored with my car...it feels slow :(
