Skid bar 2000 Corvette
Looks like I hit a curb and the passenger side skid bar has been pushed over to the right and has cracked the fiberglass and pushed it over about 1/4 inch distorting the underpanel causing a gap in the spoiler lip. Can these bars be bent back ? If I can move mine back approx . 1/2 inch it should release the pressure on the fiberglass panel and let the spoiler pop back into place without much damage showing. Any thoughts?. If it is not bendable I will go the new skid bar route.

It's steel. you can bend it. It got bent in the first place, right?
You just need to take care that it's the bar you are bending, and that you're not bending where it mounts or tearing our the rivnuts.

It's steel. you can bend it. It got bent in the first place, right?
You just need to take care that it's the bar you are bending, and that you're not bending where it mounts or tearing our the rivnuts.
