you can make plenty of power with a bone stock ls6 throttle body/intake in a boosted application... I had mine ported because it was already off the car being polished and it was super cheap to have it ported but it really isn't necessary in my opinion

To take this one step further, I ended selling my ported FASt90 combo, and replacing it with a stock LS6 intake, when I installed my SC. Additional boost is fairly easy to aquire, and FI negates intake flow to some extent.
