What would happen if...??
What would happen if my pcm was flashed back to stock with an aftermarket cam in it?? I currently have LS1 Edit and have been wondering about what would happen if it was flashed back to stock at a dealership. Would it even drive at all?? Or would it act up so much that it would not be driveable whatsoever?? I may be trading in the C5 soon due to all the recent times it has been in the shop. I need something reliable and it has been less than reliable thus far. Don't get me wrong, I love the car and how it looks, but there comes a limit. I am tired of worrying when the next little problem is gonna come up. Currently, the problems that need attention are, 1)the fuel sending unit that acts up occasionally, 2)really rough idle and surging at times, 3)ignition is acting up and gets "sticky", and 4) now all these prob codes have come up that keeps setting off the check engine light. Oh well, it goes into the shop tomorrow for the check engine light problem. I guess we will see what that problem is now. I guess if this keeps up, you guys may be seeing a bunch of parts going up for sale soon. :sad:
