1 other thing how large of a cut out should be made to open up the box??
I plan on putting wire screen in the opening.. Do I have to worry about debri getting in there?? I figure 1/4 inch screen should do any thoughts?

Check this mod out. Tshac, a member here, modified his like this. I've seen it in person and it looks nice and opens the lid up to a lot more air.
