Can loading wrong tune fry pcm?
Turns out the tuner (after much beating around the bush) loaded a 2001 trans am tune onto a 1998 LS1 pcm. He said he used CATS to do it.
With that said, is my PCM done?
I'm willing to bet it is. He asked me to send it back to him to re-tune it I did of course.

I'll have to check the pin outs, but if I remember correctly you may have brick on your hands.

However if you compare these two Blue connectors they are the only ones that have 12 volt inputs. There are only three 12 volt inputs. Pins 19 and 20 are the same for both years. In 98 the other is pin 61. In 01 the other one is pin 57.
If they used the 01 pin out to program it is should still be OK since in 98 pin 57 is not used for anything.
