Default Speedometer error?

I am back with my misreading speedometer. I have checked reading by both GPS and measuring with a stopwatch, and result is identical. Speedometer is out 9,5 % across the board!
What this means is that it shows 9,5% to much all the time! If I understand it correctly it is not just speed but also distance that will be wrong. When I have driven 10.000 miles, car will show I have driven 10.950 miles, right?
Anyone have any idea if I can have it fixed?
Can I just to a GM rep and have them calibrate it? If so, will it just change speedo, or will it effect any programing made by my Powerloader?
Thanks in advance!
Mikael

Are your rear tires not the stock heigth? That is the only thing that can alter the speedo on a C5.

If you are Powerloaded, then I would contact them about this problem.

One thing I observed while investigating this issue relative to LS1-Edit was a pro tune that had the output shaft speed scaling constant correct but did not have the gear scaling constants correct. Needless to say I was surprised they had managed to get the hard one and miss the easy one.

Yes, I have original tires on, and car has just done 3.600 miles!

Then what do you think the source for the speedo error is?

The dealer should correct this problem for you under the new car factory warranty. It's broke, make them fix it!
