Default New windshield leaking no start no codes

About 6 weeks ago I had the windshield replaced in my 01 Z06. It was done at my house and it started pouring down rain just after the windshield was installed, the interior was very damp. I used three+ towels to remove all the water I could. I am in FL and it has been raining non stop here ever since except a couple of days. I have tried to let the inside dry out several times (while working 72+ hours a week). Then I noticed a week ago the new windshield was leaking bad and my battery was completely dead. I had an appointment to have the problem repaired, but got an email the day before and the same guy was coming out. I canceled the appointment and planned on bringing it in to their shop so they could clean up my interior. I just replaced the battery, have no codes and no crank when I turn the key. I sometimes get a pull the key and wait 10 seconds message. I have the steering column lock bypass installed. I also noticed when installing the new battery it seemed to be pulling a quite a few amps since it had a larger than normal spark when installing the ground.

Any suggestions? I am lost on this one

Thanks in advance for any help!

Never mind, found the issue, it was moisture / corrosion in the ignition cylinder. It's running now.

If you installed the LMC5 module... in the instructions it has a "brown wire mod" that will take care of the Pull Key Message
IF you have ANY questions call Richard at Compliance Parts he is the BOMB!

You better get the carpet out or it will mildew and you will have a mess.

Thanks I have a LMC5, I think the directions are in the glove box?

When I drop my Z off at the place (big auto glass chain) they are keeping it until the inside is detailed and spotless. I have already informed my insurance company. If they try to do a crummy job or nothing then it will be going straight to the dealership. I have let a few small thing slide recently, but this is my 27k mile Z and they are not getting off the hook at all.

I'd be surprised if the dealership will install your LMC5...
I would double check my battery terminal connections also...

I installed the LMC5 over a year ago. It was running yesterday, but I have a no crank issue again. Sometimes I get the pull key wait 10 seconds most of the time I don't. I have a new battery and new terminals with dielectric grease on them. I currently have the battery disconnected and charging since it was showing 11.7 volts.

The brown wire mod should be in your LMC5 installation instructions...

I was just about to give that a try, the glass company is setting up a tow for my Z to go to the dealership.

Now the strange part I clicked on the link you provided and I am getting a seat code on my DIC which I didn't mention.

Thanks, I am out to do the brown wire mod, just didn't make since the first time I read it (probably because I was on the phone).

Started getting all the service steering column and pull key errors again. I emailed LMC5 to get their opinion if my LMC5 module had gone bad. I got an email from Richard and he suggested checking a quite a few things along with the anti-theft relay. After a quick search I found the relay jumped it out (causing the starter to work). Then I used an old Lt1 Caddy fan relay (which is the same relay) and all is fine. Not even 1 single code
