driver side window issues
hey guys, new to the forum and new to corvettes in general. just bought 1999 with 155k on it and everythings perfect except the driver side window only rolls up 1/3 of the way. iv taken the door panel off to try to diagnose the issue but am having some trouble. the window goes down and up just fine, pretty fast actually, but it just stops 1/3 of the way up. it almost looks like its hooking onto something on the guide towards front of the door if that makes sense? also, the window motor was VERY hot. iv read that the auto down can get stuck and can over heat the motors? i could just replace everything, but i wanted to see what some experts thought and hopfully find a simpler/ cheaper fix to this problem. any thoughts or ideas is greatly appreciated!

My driver window was acting up recently. The motor and window mechanism and guides are all in one unit, reasonably priced from vendors and fairly easy to change. There are a couple of tutorials on here explaining the process. I got mine from Rockauto.com about $ 150.00.
