Default column lock issue

I installed an LMC5 about 6 months ago and my problem was solved until yesterday when the dreaded pull key message came up. Last week I brought the car to the dealership to look into a few codes I was getting (turned out to be a low voltage issue). I immediately bought a BT Junior and am hoping to rid myself of a possible battery problem. Any thoughts about the LMC5 going bad??? Or did the dealership possibly disturb any thing I had installed. Thanks!

99 convertible 6 speed, stock.

Could you list the steps for the brown wire mod? My instructions don't seem to mention it. I've received the pull key message 5 or 6 times since I installed the LMC5. I want to attribute it to the two POS Red Tops I've had in the car but I can't be certain of it.

8vette7, thanks for your response to my issue! I haven't had a repeat code since the initial one. I'm hoping I had a low voltage mini-episode. And yes, I did the brown wire procedure. I'll call vendor if it happens again.

Thanks
