I'm in a bind. My parts - tech manuals are gone (I'm moving and they were packed/shipped to my new home.). I need the front shock bolt size. My garage is a mess due to the pack out and I've misplaced the bolts. Can someone look the size up for me? 2000 C5 Coupe....

I'd check with the local GM dealership and see if they have any... and then ask about size if they don't.... FYI...I zip tied the shocks in the compressed position then put the TOP in first... lube the shock shaft with some WD-40 so it won't bind on the bushings... then you can cut the bottom free and guide it into place and jack up the rotor till the bolt holes are where you need them to bolt it back up.

Thread is m8 x 1.25 pitch

Will need four nuts as well

The bolts for the front shocks are M8x1.25x55 #11516494 bolt.
The nuts are #11517031.

Thanks guys....Appreciate the help. This is a temp fix only....Just have to get my shocks on and wheels mounted to move the car....
