Default C6 throttle body on C5

I just got a new C6 TB and the Casper's wiring adapter. I realize that this TB doesn't have the nipple that runs to bank 2 valve cover. I'll plumb that in right behind the TB. I also notice that this TB doesn't have the coolant lines running to it. I'm assuming these lines can be plugged but am not certain. Any help is appreciated.

LOL!! I installed a Ported FAST and a C6 TB way back in 04. I had the same issue. If you look on the drivers side of the plastic air tube, you will see a FLAT area. I drilled a hole on that flat area and installed a BRASS 90 Deg screw in fitting with a barbed fitting for a vacuum line. I ran the vacuum line UNDER the TB and over to that fresh air vent. Worked FANTACTIC!

As for the TB Coolant lines. You can do several things.

- Plug them

- My 02 ZO6 (LS-6) and any 2001+ LS1 engine does NOT have a rear cross over vent line. I wanted to add one to prevent the possibility of steam build up on my modified LS engine.

SO,,,,,, I removed the rear vent blank plugs, and I purchased a second 2001+ FRONT cross over tube and installed it backwards on the rear vent. I used a rubber hose to connect that vent line into the front vent line using a metal "T" fitting. (right where the C5 TB coolant hoses connected to the TB)

2001+ C5 Front cross over pipe mounted backwards and attached with a rubber hose:

You will ALSO notice that I extended that damn SHORT vacuum line.

I installed a FAST 90 and the vacuum port for that line is in a different place but,,, the extension sure does help installing a normal C5 OEM Manifold!!!
