Default Spark plug heat range for spray

Have a 2003 Z06, stock motor with exhaust and intake for now. Just a 100hp dry shot. Going to pull 4* timing out and want to go to a colder plug. What is one step colder on these cars or what do you guys recommend/use?

Thank you good sir.

I'm thinking this the correct way right? One range colder for a little spray?
