If you don't use the GM Tech2 to remove the RPO from the BCM,, you will be speed limited to 80 MPH and have all sorts of messages and DTCs!!

He is adding resistors to compensate for the f45 removal.

HE STATED THAT HE IS REMOVING THE "MODULE" If he is depending on the resistors,,, the ENTIRE SYSTEM must be retained and WORK!
So,,, you can NOT remove any F-45 suspension parts (other than the shocks)

You have to remove the F45 Real Time Dampening RPO from the BCM if you want to disable the F45 Real Time Dampening
If you install a different stall speed converter, you will have to have the PCM tuned to have the transmision shift properly.

Did not know the module that connects to the upper arm had to stay. Can be easily put back on.

Thats why I am a fan of removing the entire RPO and not having to worry about ALL of the system components working properly.

The TC and 3:42's are gonna be a fantastic upgrade! I installed a 3400 stall in mine, but left the 3:15's and the car felt like a different animal.
I used HP Tuners to adjust the shift points, pressures, and TC lockup points....It took a few tries, but I love how it performs....errr...performed!
Good luck with the swap!

While it's apart I would check the drive shaft couplers-just in case.

I learned this the hard way after completing my A4 to Six Speed swap and using a trans harness from a car that didn't have the option.
Fortunately I have a friend with a Tech2 that can clear things up and I don't think I need to be going over 80 until I can get together with him. There are so many warnings though!
