Can leaf spring bushings cause a clicking sound?
Very precise measured sound. I will jack up the car when I can and check top/bottom and side/side wobble but I'm thinking this is it.
My engine builder called it but he's known for engine stuff. After listening to him drive her into the garage I learned it wasn't coming from the front but from the rear.
End links feel pretty good, as opposed to the fronts which were completely blown out. Compared to my front ones which beyond looking like a flat donut-they looked like two pancakes!
Left side leaf bushing is gone; right side looks to have about half an inch of bushing left and it looks good, unstressed.
The front end links have been replaced by me. The rears will be replaced when I do the leaf spring bushings.
Thanks
Are you going with a polyurethane bushing? I am curious because i have ordered p/u bushings for my sway bars. Trying to get a sense if swtching to p/u in some of the other locations is worth the time and effort.

Sam, I don't know but you've given me something to think about. I'm looking at leaf spring bushings, not sway bar bushings. I called the parts house my builder uses and they don't show a part at all. I have another source to talk to though.
For anyone: I should replace both, even if going stock, correct?

I have found a couple of places that have p/u bushings for our cars. I think JEGS is a source.
