Default HUD plastic trim

The plastic trim on the dash Hud assembly recently cracked in the sun. How hard is it to replace? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to remove the dash.

You will need to pull the console bezel, hush panel, drop the steering column by removing 2 bolts, this will allow you to pull out the gauge cluster. remove a few bolts from the glove box. Then you can pull out the dash board

Once you have the dash out you can undo those plastic bolts holding the hud bezel in, that will probably just break, and install the new one and reassemble.

Thanks, but I'm going to try it the way Janky suggested, it seem much easier

I was just thinking about throwing out one just about an hour ago... It's still sitting on my table from when I replaced my dash...
I replaced my dash because it had several "tabs" that were broken off. The new (used) dash had a bezel already attached.. I have an extra if you would like it?? NO CHARGE... just pay shipping and its yours!!

The dash isn't that hard to pull out, its actually much easier than I expected....!!!

Good Luck

If this offer is open to anyone else I'll take it if 65 midyear doesn't want it,

I tried janky's suggestion, and it worked great. It was easy to install, and you can't tell that it was replaced

Much easier than pulling the entire dash apart.
