valve tick/ pressure issue
Ok, so this is a C5 in my shop right now, not my own.
The car came in with a valve tick. The rockers are pulled off and we can see that the push rods and rockers look nice. No abnormal wear. We see good oil pressure at the sending unit, but low oil pressure comes out of several of the push rods. We had it running before removing the rockers.
Half of the push rods on both banks are very slow to pump up and some even have little to no oil coming out.
Ideas?

Yes and as we increased more would come out, but some were still just oozing and a few on each side did not get better
It has good oil pressure on the bottom end, is there a common cam bearing problem on these engines? Maybe its loosing pressure there

Well we're going with lifters since pressure is good and the tick is on the top end. All other components look good. Lifters are the likely cause of the tick as well as oil not making it up the pushrods.
Maybe someone did a bad instal. It's been modified in the past.
