I recently changed the engine in my Z06. I lowered the entire drivetrain out the bottom and disconnected all the brake lines at the ABS pump.
Now when I do a hard stop (as in autocross stop), one wheel will lock up. I can't say for sure that it is constantly the same wheel.
I have bled brakes. I have had a shop with a tech 2 do an ABS bleed.
The DIC shows ABS active when I do a hard stop, but I feel no modulation from the brake pedal. I check for codes immediately after the hard stop - no codes.
Same combination of tires, brake pads, fluid, etc as prior to the engine swap and it had worked fine for years prior to the engine swap.
First pull your codes. See what codes are being thrown. If you have a wheel locking up you might have a sensor issue at one of your wheels (one locking up). Maybe a sensor was disconnected and needs to be re-connected. But that should show up in your code list.
Well that's what is puzzling me. There are no codes. I've checked. I can take the car out, stand on the brake till I get wheel lock up, pull to the side of the road and check codes - no codes!
I have checked the wheel speed sensors and connectors. I've disconnected one at a time and looked at the code to insure that each corner is properly talking to the computer.
