Just got a Carbon fiber air duct with coupler at Carlisle show today from West Coast Corvettes...question about the install...
I know obviously the 3 clamp rings is about it but what do I do with the sensor clip(not sure what its called) that is attached to my stock air duct..I have a 97 by the way if that matters...says it fits as well when i bought it...theres no attachment on the carbon fiber duct that i see anyways...your help is appreciated..thanks alot! :)
If I'm not mistaken, you need to drill a small hole in the aftermarket airbridge on model years '97-'00. Someone who knows for sure will chime in shortly.

I just put one in a few weeks ago, with a Blackwing, and that's what I had to do. You can move the hole a little further away from the throttle body if you want...maybe get slightly cooler air.
I didnt know drilling was required for this...any more advice on this install? I have a blackwing on mine as well....how big of a hole is it to drill??? what size bit??? ...thanks again! :)
