Get your flash light out and look under there. The ends of the bar have a square slot on each end, the seat base has the matching "male" end. For lack of better words, it's a spring fit between the two sides. There's no bolts or anything, just squeezed in between the two sides. That's the best way I can describe it..

I have a link on how to remove it which might help with details of how it connects. Will look to post for you, not at home now.

ok guys thanks for the help. I fixed it by taking off the char from the car, the metal tongue was out of the plate on right side, I fixed it and put the lever into slots, then mounted char back into the car.

chair, Mr. Sam. English is not his first language though he does a great job with it. Far better than I do with his language (which I don't speak at all)

Synca, it is only 4 nuts to remove to take the passenger seat right out. Takes me 5 minutes to take it out. Once you have it out of the car you can lay it down and see how the adjuster handle mounts. I think it will be pretty easy for you at that point.

No foul, don't worry about anything. Hope you did OK with the flooding. I am on high ground for just that type of reason.
