Just wondering how many wrenches(skill ratings)it is for the install on the stage II diff. Also, would retuning be necessary on an m6?
You may say "From your questions, too much for you, but I have a buddy who has great skills" so I won't be going solo here.
This is a future project since I have to replace the motor in my truck first.
It's the same process as replacing it with a stock unit. The RPM diff does NOT come filled. They will not ship full of diff fluid so you need to get something like Amsoil, Royal Purple or fluid of your choice. I have swapped diffs in manual and autos and it's pretty much the same except for the seal plate that must be transferred on the auto diff. No retuning is required since the speed takeoff is from the diff passenger output. I would get some new seals and the main tranny-diff O-ring while you're at it.

That just happened - I checked those links a couple of minutes before I posted that. I believe I have the file saved on my computer in my home office. I'll see if I can post that one.
