Default Here we go again with ed hutchens

Here i am again,, this is my 2nd ED Hutchens built engine that has had failed in under a 1000 miles, heres last years original thread link.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-surprise.html
this motor only has 700 miles on it, heard a slight knock sound, took it to shop they suspected something internally, they pulled filter , ive got silver oil, they cut open filter, BAM metal all in filter, motor toast,
please do not do any business with this NON engine builder,
IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD ENGINE FAILIER DUE TO ED HUTCHENS PLEASE CONTACT ME ,, HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED NOW.. He used to be very good at tuning ,,But even then he was questionable .. Again the 2nd motor that he built in 1.5 yrs both let go, he supplied all parts each time , no cost was spared,

Just wondering, I remember a car from Virgina with low mileage failures like yours.

Turned out it was a restrictive oil cooler adapter block. (maybe made nearby)

Have another builder build your motor -

Take case to court and get money back and reputable builder tuner to do all the work!

This happened to my friend (different builder and tuner) and he won his case and got everything completed by someone else! Happy now!

Thanks,Matt

Your first picture looks like a spun bearing cause the metal shavings. I wonder if he just tried to replace the spun bearing again.

Wonder if he ever checked the gap between bearing and crank or rod???
