Default No hot air HVAC issues.

In the summer I was having a problem with the AC blowing hot air and replaced both actuators and the control unit with a good used one. All three were bad. This system started acting up again not long after. Im getting nothing but cold air now. Reset by pulling fuses three times and now tried disconnecting the battery neg cable. No change. Still cold.

Is it possible to switch to a manual control? I searched and didn't see much. Is my car breaking the auto controllers? Are grounds a common problem with the HVAC system? Thanks all

You DON'T even want to think about what it would take to convert to a manual system.

Pull your dash DIC trouble codes and see what it may show us.

Got two HVAC codes, B0441 and B0446, left and right actuators out of range. Both are History codes and have a C next to them. These were present before I replaced the actuators IIRC

Are those the codes you have now of what you had before you replaced the actuators?

Picked up another HVAC control online. Going to try it out and post back in a few days. Thanks for the help so far!

What process are you using to reset by pulling the fuse? Are you waiting long enough?

When the HVAC system runs through its RESET/CALIBRATION sequence,,,,,,,,,,,,, You need to see if the actual SHAFT that moves the temp damper door rotates through its total range of movement... If you monitor the DRIVERS SIDE actuator, its the easiest to see and watch it cycle. IF,,,,,,,,,,,,, It doesnt run through the complete range of damper motion movement,,, you need to figure out what is wrong.

Either the actuator isnt working correctly OR the damper door is hanging up and unabel to fully cycle through it range of motion. You MUST determine what is causing the ERROR to happen!!

Yea, thinking the problem may be the drivers actuator again. I'm not hearing the damper closing like I would expect. I just hear both actuators buzzing their normal routine. Wonder if my new actuator just broke? Planning to pull the dash off again to see them clearly working. Anyone know if you can see the damper by looking through the kick panel?

I bought another HVAC control and it showed up not working. Got to mail it back. Thanks for the feedbacks. Really helps me think through this.

You can see the drivers side actuator operate from under the drivers side dash. Just remove the close out panel and look UP at the air box.

See if the actual rod/shaft moves when the actuator moves
