I just bought a low mileage 99 (9k miles) The last two owners were not tech car guys, So anyway....
I have no problems with any car functions and the only real issue so far is 1 TPMS not reading.
When I pulled the codes in the DIC... the fatal C1255 TCS was there. When I cleared them all (others were low voltage from numerous battery run downs from non use i'm assuming) and the tire issue. (The last owner did not know you could even access them.)
After clearing them I took a basic 40 mile drive, there were no codes thrown, my question... might I be out of the woods on the TCS failure? There are no DIC warnings other than the tire pressure.
BTW.... this forum has been great for my C3 and C4... and it seems great for the techy C5!!!
