Default 04 Vert sudden leakage

My 04 has magically developed leaks at the top of the pillars, left and right. Found out after a rain storm, floors were soaked! Never happened before. Anyone have an idea as to why or a fix? No damages...

Not sure of your leakage cause in specific but I recommend you pull your carpets out and let them dry or you will be dealing with mildew. That will also make sure the area around the BCM and fuse box does not gather condensation and cause issues.

I assume you have a coupe but you should clarify.

There are window adjustments that you can do and there are also top adjustments that can be performed. The SERVICE MANUAL has an entire chapter on both topics. The door window adjustments should be followed in sequence.

Cycle you window UP & DOWN several times and make sure that its going full travel and not binding or making weird noises.

I would also check the door HINGE and make sure that its not worn.

The original GM Factory service manual sets are the best IMHO. I purchased a set for my 2001 the day I went to pick it up.

You want ONLY the GM published set for the Y car, Corvette.

Here is what it will look like.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-Chevrol...tion0w&vxp=mtr

This appears to be only 2 volumes and I am used to seeing 3 volumes like my 2001 is.
