More info would be nice. Like the HVAC unit controls and display seem to work and the blower works. If they do you don't have a fuse issue.
Pull your dash DTC codes and see if they show us anything.
Mr. Sam
Codes were p0361 and p0441 If I remember correctly. When I drove my car yesterday, I had not heat again. I cleared those codes, and got full heat. I am wondering if tapping the cream color wire on the HVAC plug for audio illumination is the culprit?
Yikes $600 actuators, I am lucky not too cold in the winter....glad my ac is functioning.
Do you need to pull the battery neg. also to reset or just the fuse?
I did the fuse for the 0441 no change.
Actuators are about 75.00 each from Rock Auto. Same ones are 61.00 and 47.00 from Amazon. (47.00 is from some place in Texas).
Price is not the problem... pulling the dash is the problem. Even then, what is two days out of your life? Time spent working on your Corvette is not subtracted from your life span.
I just pulled part of the dash apart to swap wiper switch....that 14 year old plastic does not like to flex....and a 3 foot long wiper harness should of given me a hint would be a PITA.
Anyone have any good links to dash removal? I found one on another site but seemed inaccurate.
After the wiper switch and motor fiasco I am extremely discourage to do stereo aux or swap now, and my left window makes some crunching on the way down...
