Easy HomeLink integration
One of my first mods on my newly purchased 1998 C5 Convertible.
I purchased a HomeLink visor module from eBay ($20). Initially I was going to modify the visor, however as I started looking at it I went with a different integration option.
I spliced power from the center console cigarette outlet (underneath the traction control button panel), and then I mounted the module behind the carpet down by the driver's knee/thigh.
This was a very easy job, and it's a nice discrete location which is also very easy to reach.
