Autozone looked at codes under the steering wheel and told me I needed O2 senors... 110K miles... expecting that. After a couple of trips to get enough of the right parts... changed all four.
Expected the check engine light to go off eventually but it's been a week and many "cycles" (daily driver).
Is it supposed to go off on itself, do I need to reset something... or is it time to look for more codes?
You can pull your own codes on the C5. Pull them up and write them down. Reset and drive for awhile and before you turn off the car, pull them again and see which ones have returned. Those are the ones to check out.

The C5 has about 325 codes from the 11 or 12 modules depending on RPOs. The auto store scanners can only pull emissions related ones. Pulling from the dash allows you see them and also delete any to see if they come back.
