My first Mod. Pull fuse #2 "Approach Lights"
It will disable the backup lights when you're unlocking the doors if you have that feature activated - No Biggie.

My car is hard enough to see as it is. If it was legal I'd put a frickin' strobe light on top.

Pulled #2 Fuse (approach lights) under the hood a long time ago...now my turn signal bulbs will last much longer and I won't attract any attention from those wielding the radar/laser gun. :yesnod:

Pulling fuse #2 from pass. footboard box does same but doesn't disable back up lights blinking when arming/disarming alarm. At least thats what I found...Tell me I won't blow up my car....

#2 fuse under hood.. :D couldn't I get it right the first time.
Funny thing is #2 under foot board does disable as well, but also has something to do with A/H I think.
Thanks for the help...

Hey guys ,
i might be wrong here...But i don't think you need to pull your Fuse to disable your Running lights..It's an option on your DIC.
Just scroll through your options menu and select accordingly..I'll double check in the morning .

Doesn't number two, under the floor, also disable courtesy lights?

Which fuse will ONLY disable the running lights and have no effect on anything else?? Under the hood or in the floorboard?

I'm with David Lively, I'm tired of Suburbans and other SUV's not being able to see me and pulling out in front of me or cutting me off. I'd leave 'em be.

The #2 FUSE UNDER THE HOOD. LEAVE THE #2 FUSE UNDER THE FOOTBOARD ALONE :D

Re: Who has disabled their running lights ? (Cajun75)
When I had my GT I hated to see those lights coming up behind me. It meant only one thing. "A VETTE WAS COMING QUICK"
Now I watched those lights in envy for 3 years. You think I am going to unplug them?
