Hello all! I have an '04 coupe that I've owned for 6 months. It has about 62k on it.This might be a dumb question, but when should I replace the h2o pump?Do I wait until it starts leaking or making noise?

I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts to leak or it is struggling to cool the car effeciently... it's also a pretty simple job when the time comes
I agree with the others. I currently have my water pump out (doing H/C) with ~70k miles and thought about replacing it, but decided against it. If it ain't broke don't fix it. My philosophy- if it's easy to get to- keep using it until it's broken. I don't think these usually fail catastrophically- usually it will start as a leak. Thus, THE MOMENT you detect any kind of leak, change it! If you have a higher mileage car, just check under the hood each time you fill up gas.
Something buried like the slave cylinder or the oil pump, that I definitely change if I happen to be in there doing something else.
You should at minimum drain all of your coolant and replace it with
NEW Dexcool with distilled water.
Alot of people think its "lifetime" Coolant..
Thats just asking for problems.. Coolant affect MANY components in any car
It's cheap. Easy. Just do it
