So I have narrowed it down to these two choices. From what I have read, here is basically the comparison. Both are about the same price and both seem to be good quality products. The JBA's aren't as long as the TSP. They tuck nicer and do not hang as low, o2 extensions arent even required with these. I do like how nicely they fit but are they going to make less power because they are shorter? As for the TSP's I have read alot about fitment issues... that they hang low and that many have had issues with the o2 bung placement. I'm torn on which ones to choose. I'm leaning towards the JBA's but my main concern with them is that they won't make quiet the hp that the longer TSP's will. Any input would be appreciated.
The latest XS headers seem to be fine. It's what I would probably go for if I were on a budget and looking for headers.
Agreed but I asked the seller if I could only purchase the headers and not the x-pipe because I already have an x and they pretty much said no... or I would prob go that route. I'm surprised more guys haven't went with the JBA's but I believe part of that is JBA only offered shorty headers for a long time. I have the the JBA shorties on my car now and they are great quality.
I had XS turbo manifold on a turbo Honda. It kept breaking at the welds. After I had the whole thing re-welded inside and out the tubing cracked. Finally I had to ditch it for a more expensive manifold that was assembled better. Wish I would have spent the money once. You get what you pay for.

Do what you want it's your car.
I agree and I have never been one to go the cheaper route because I do believe you get what you pay for. At the same time I believe alot of what you're paying for with the more expensive exhausts is the name (to a degree). Also, I'm also factoring in a set of cats, paying for installation, and a dyno tune. I don't have a high budget for all of it, unfortunately, or I would probably get Kooks or ARH header/catted x combo.
