Default memory seat issue....

Hi I got in my c5 z06 to go to work this morning and noticed the easy entry and exit was not working I tried resetting it and the memory light just steady blinks it was around 30degrees in my garage so I thought maybe it had to do with it being cold but when I warmed the car up it still has consisted so I am wondering if anybody has any experience with this? Also my mirrors and heat are working correctly just not my seat functions all though my seat works fine manually if I adjust myself another words no memory functions with seat all other memory is fine.

Did you go through the sequence to pull the codes or are you just saying nothing has come up? (not trying to be a smart *** just want to be clear).

Verify the battery voltage before starting the car and again after the car is running and post both values here.

Pull and post the codes. If you have never done this here is how:

OR

http://www.c5forum.com/ayc/dtcdic.php

Post ALL the codes and the H or C or HC that follow each 5 character code.

Good luck... GUSTO

Yes. That info will enable folks here to provide more specific guidance verses just taking shots in the dark.

Good luck... GUSTO

Either the connector in the accordion seal between the door and the body is corroded or not making good contact. Also, I was getting LDCM (Left Door Control Module) codes like that and it turned out to be the memory module under the seat is probably going bad. All that stuff is so interconnected that it can be hard to troubleshoot from a distance.

First, seat memory only works after you've pressed the fob and gotten into your car. Took me a while to figure that out.
I was having the intermitting issues too and pulled codes. Do a search on the seat or memory control module. I pulled the drivers seat out, cleaned the contacts on the connector under the seat and also did the seat controller fix. There are threads on the fix but what it involves is taking apart the seat control module under the drivers seat and re-soldering some of the circuit board contacts. It wasn't too bad but fixed the problem.
