Hello, I searched all over these forums and was unable to find anyone else having the same issue that I am. I just finished installing a hyperflash harness on my c5, and I have converted all of the exterior lights on the car to led. All of the lights work properly and there is no hyperflash issue with the turn signals. However since installing the hyperflash harness, whenever my headlights are on the arrow indicator lights on the dash are lit. They stay slightly dimmer than when the turn signals or hazards are switched on, but both left and right indicators are constantly lit. Has anyone else run into this issue or know what could be causing it? Thanks for your help.
The headlights are HID's, but the arrows actually show when the running lights are turned on as well so I don't think they are what is causing the issue. I also found out last night that the entire dash illuminates as if the running lights/headlights are switched on when the brake pedal is pressed. Could this be a faulty harness?
I don't think the Hyperflash harness has anything to do with your issue unless you didn't have this issue until you put in the harness. This assumes you did the HIDs and LEDs first with no issues. You could always remove it to prove that.
Did you put in any ballasts or resistors when you did the HID and LED mods? Be specific please.
I installed the HID headlights first with no issues, and they have ballasts that are 35w I believe. Next I purchased replacement led bulbs for the DRLs and tail/brake lights. None of the bulbs have built in resistors or harnesses of any sort. I installed the DRL bulbs first then tested the turn signals. As expected, there was hyperflash when they were used. I reinstalled the original halogen lights, then went online and ordered a hyperflash harness. I received the harness in the mail a couple of days ago, and installed it along with all of the replacement led bulbs on the exterior of the car. Everything works properly from the outside of the car and there is no hyperflash, but the dash indicator lights are definitely not working correctly. I really appreciate the help, thank you.
I had a similar problem. Radioflyer Innovations, where I bought the products told me to clean my grounds under the hood. There are four of them. That solved the problem. Radioflyer is a good vendor to deal with.
Well I went ahead and cleaned all of the grounds last night. Tested the lights again today and am still having the same issues. I contacted the seller of the harness I bought, and they are sending me a new harness this week. I will go ahead and try putting the halogen bulbs back in the brake lights and see if that helps. Thanks for the help everyone, I'll keep you posted when I find the culprit.
You're correct, I should've specified. I didn't clean all of the grounds for the entire car, but I did clean the four grounds under the hood. The two on top of the motor near the fuel rails and the two behind the headlights.

You installed the hyperflash harness along with several LED replacements. That makes it difficult to isolate the culprit. It may be the harness, but I would say that most probably it is among the LEDs.
You already cleaned the grounds as suggested with no success. Check the other suggestion and swap back the OEM tail/brake bulbs. I have read more than one horror story caused by some LED tail/brake bulbs.

I agree with GCG. Re-install the OE bulbs and check operation.
"LEDS" are diodes (an electrical component designed to allow current flow in one direction only). I wonder if one, or more, LED(S) are "back-feeding", i.e. breaking down internally and allowing current to flow in the wrong direction.
