Default Window going down issue

Hey Guys,

I just put a new window regulator in my car today and I have discovered an issue when I put the window down. It is making the inner door weather strip or seal roll when the window is going down....almost like the little felt is missing but everything looks good on that end. I attached a picture to show the area were it is catching up. I think it might be the pitch in the window but when it is up everything looks good in regards to sealing...any help would be appreciated.

Maybe a thin smear of dielectric grease. From pic, it looks good.

Grease on the window?

There is an entire chapter in the service manual on window adjustment.
IMHO, you have too much window TIP IN causing the window to press hard against that seal.. If you push the window OUTWARD when rolling it down, does it still do it?

The TIP IN adjustment (Two Bolts) is under the door on the bottom where the seal is. How much window tip in do you have?

If the tip in is not abnormal, you could just have a damaged/weak seal/ wiper

I would use Rain X on the window, instead of any grease.......if you think something slicker might help, but agree that you should make sure the adjustments are correct first.

If I bend the rubber seal back just a hair it goes down without a hitch. When the window is going up it leans or bends toward the piler a little bit before sliding up the weather stripping. If I adjust the front bolt on the bottom of the door and the back one behind the reflector inward would fix it I think. I guess if that doesn't do it I could put a little heat on the seal and bend it back a hair might fix it....at least I'm hoping anyway....
