Max speed 80 mph??
start up my car this morrning and the dic says "maxspeed 80 mph"
i didnt know y it said that so i hit the highway and it is governed at 80?why did that happen?
i then pulled over and restarted my car and i could pass 80 mph
whats goin on?

I wish I could help you out on that one cause god knows I don't ever want to see that messege :eek: It will be interesting to see the responses that you get get as to why that happened.

Problems with ABS, TC & Active handling as well as F45 shock system malfunctions can cause this to be displayed on the DIC. Take it to the Dealership and let them fix it.

IF AH/TC/ABS systems can cause this...maybe...
When you start your can and start driving before these systems initialize, they all give an error. Maybe this is the cause and it limited your speed as it hadn't properly checked all systems...shot in the dark...

I'm not exactly sure what causes it, but I know that the reasons were described in the owner's manual when I read it. Might be a good to time to look.
